As the topic "suggests" international saix network just died.

any comments?

could it be the floods in Meredale?

My Network was completely down this morning after loads of tweaking I can now check email and browse some local sites but not international (in fact not even google.co.za)

Mweb don't have any idea as to why.

Could it be related to the massive water flood in Meredale this morning?
 
Just talked to 0800DSLDSL :
The problem is not yet confirmed, the technicians are looking into it and will let them know what the problem is and if I want to know I have to call back at approx. 4:30pm
 
yeah, there are apparently 'problems' unquote in joburg and bloemfontein, according to saix, as reported by axxess. I wouldnt say international went poof, but its definitely fruity and listening to Village People..
 
Ok random moments but international is royally ****ed.. We all just getting different good and bad moments during the day.

Its amazing how long the day seems when the pages draaaaaag instead of flick!!flick,flack .

I love it when the pages go flik flik flik flick flack
.......... but I not got no bandwidth its "laggging lagging and me pages are dragging dragging....:)

And i aint even capped yet, OMG i hate it when i am capped...........
 
My international has been full speed all day.. joys of not using tel skom ;)
 
I've had no probs MaD - my international has been 100% fine.
Surely at some point, your bandwidth is coming from Telskum ?

Anyone else having both local and international problems since this morning, specifically in the Parow/Bellville area (Cape Town)?
