LOL, the thieves are building their own network.
They will run an optical cable to Zimbabwe and channel international traffic to SA selling it to IS at a greatly reduced cost. He he.

I know - instead of hiring a security crew to monitor the cables, lets put in 70 CCTV camera's and catch them using that ?
No ?
Dumb idea ?
What ?
Put 2 camera's live watching each other, then 2 more and then 2 more ?
No ?
Stupid idea that !
We'll just hire my newly established security company instead.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL
Project is going live later this month but tenders for the software must only be in by Feb 21.
Bwaaahahahahahahahahahah.
Wonder how Ivy is involved.
I recognise those fingerprints ....
Why spend R28million to find out what everybody knows already? Traffic on the N1 is a stuff-up of monumental proportions. It varies between very slow and extremely slow. How will all this hi-tech help the hapless commuter. If they spent it on upgrading the R101 it might actually have done some good.
At least they are not blowing R20billion on a train that nobody will ride on.
