No you can't. You will need a fresh install between architectures.

This seems to be for a standalone version, and if so then it is a very good deal. Can't wait to see the T&C's though...

I got a feeling they are selling the same version as everyone else is selling, using the RRP from Jan 2013, after the launch promotion, to make it look like your saving 70%.

R2000 normal price ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fark me they can shove that where the sun dont shine

thats what I was thinking .... but not sure what the other prices are ... and if this is a good deal ... then would not want to miss out :)

I'm also thinking its the upgrade and not the standalone. If its the standalone then its a bargain.

It must surely be the standalone version. Groupon isn't retarded. If it is, it's a fantastic deal.

This all depends on what version it is..

If its an Upgrade, then its along Groupons normal line of business about inflating the price, and their special being not-so-special...

If its the full version, well then thats a different story, and I will probably buy.

Probably this one, which Kalahari is selling for R2391. Which is also just the upgrade version, same the online version for $39. Just with the physical disc.

EDIT: shees, that was quick, as soon as I posted the link, it was out of stock on their site. This is what it looked like before it went out of stock. Guess they heard about Groupon and wanted to change their price ASAP.

I think it's all "smoke & mirrors" as I haven't seen any retail pack pricing yet and according to some ZDnet posts the "Retail Pack" as we knew it might no longer exist - meanwhile here's some food for thought:

How does the upgrade version affect pirate users of Windows software.
Maybe this version only installs if you're registered on the Microsoft servers.
In which case you might have to get an original Win xp/7 disk and upgrade to 8 or an original 8 do to a completely fresh install.

Gees you guys aren't clued up. Go look at the link posted, you can buy the same product for $39 from Microsoft directly.

Incredible and Groupon are just raping customers as always

That price is only for the upgrade.
