Can someone please suggest a Core 2 Duo motherboard with SLI, I can only find the Asus P5N32-SLI SE.
 
I've also been serching everywhere for a good Core 2 Duo SLI mobo and cant really find anything... i think that maybe in a month or 2's time there will be good ones

Im not sure (please someone i want to upgrade and need that special mobo HELP!!!)
 
No crossfire for me I like Nvidia, any other boards? If there aren't any please suggest a good non-SLI board

the badaxe board does sli now, as I posted in another thread a few days back, nvidia have lifted the restriction they had on intel chipsets not supporting sli (it was nvidia's driver that didnt allow it, not the board not being physically capable)

as such, the badaxe is a pretty good board. can do crossfire and sli now, 8 sata etc etc.
 
Would a Intel chipset board with two screencards be as good as one with a nforce 570/590 chipset?
 
Probably not, considering also that you don't have an SLI bridge with those boards so all traffic is PCI-e. :/

I'd rather get an nV 590 SLI board to use with Core2 Duo. :)

good someone asked this question. Also looking to one.
The Intel "Bax Axe" is very good board. (read a review on toms hardeware), but it's pretty expensive. (Top-of-the-line intel board)
 
THink its possible to keep this thread updated with possible boards? I am sure quite a few people are also waiting for manufacturers and suppliers to get 590 boards in stock.
 
Just noticed that Apple haven't bumped their iMacs with the Core2Duo 'Conroe' as expected. They were first with the new Xeon Woodcrest. Could this mean a problem with delivery? Did Hizballah hit their factory or what?
