Hi all it has taken me 1 hour to get this far and i hope this gets posted.

KZN inet is gone (99% of it that is)

Let me give examples:

that is from a user that is in durban and can actually connect. All other users that are out there cant even connect to their account info. Whether saix or IS.
Currently im at a client and on a diginet line. Their system is affected also in that their international is totally screwed.

No need to speak for the whole province! ADSL is running fine in PMB.

My phone line was dead from 11 to 12 or so. Working now, adsl working fine too. In westville, dbn

Peter_j i speak for majority not for whole province. and please read the post carefully.

I have confirmed this intermit adsl around SA. JHB , CPT, Durban etc have been affected by this..... its back up and running now was down for 3-4 hours.

Antowan confirmed the downtime in jhb.
And other users around SA confirmed down time.
I dont just suck this stuff out my thumb.

Its not for all users but a major majority of them.

And besides if you were to read what i said you would have realised that

I was, obviously, referring to the overdramatised thread title. It would perhaps have been more appropriate as "Durban is down!!" or "eThekwini is down!!", which we in PMB know in any event, since we are up here in PMB! :p

lol.... if it was you there would have been just as much DRAMA :P

Well its working now...

Makes us think..... between antowan and myself we think telkom is experimenting..... dunno... what your thoughts?

I was down in PE from 17,00 on Tuesday (15 Aug) until 10,00 Wednesday.
Telkom said Network failure.
Eamil problems (authentication) on Monday 21 aug.

You are correct about the DRAMA!!! ;)

Heaven help us if Telkom are experimenting! They are dodgy enough when not doing so!

Always seems to be some bugger up when Telkom tries to change something major in their network. Can be good or bad. Lets see. Anybody get uncapped local after Intl cap?

Lol,

I DONT really want to know what telkom are doing.... would like to think they actually are adhearing to the regulation but then hope + telkom = forever

Anyway did my bit of ranting and raving today... and got to talk to a fellow sushi lover also ;) all good, all good

:D

i really dont think 99% of kzn go through the ndn exchange, since nngy was still fine :D
