147184 hell thats a lot of viri, Windows must have been corrupted beyond recognition.

I agree that it is a load of carp. These surveys often are as a result of a preference or other...
AVG has successfully protected mine and clients of mine for over 5 years now. And it is WAYYYYYYYYY easier to admin and better (and bug free) compared to Nortons (just one example). As for it not detecting all the viruses - bull.

Nortons is just so problematic and buggy at best - almost every version they have released recently, not to mention sloowwwww to update. This report is FLAWED :D

Ive used antivir for many years and im very happy with it.
It has never let me down.
 
That sounds good, hopefully its just the useless(ish) features that bloat the app.

i still use NOD32, its so low on recoursces compared to most of those. Ive also seen alot of reports whereit wins almost everything outright.

And there are tons of these tests, one doesnt make it official btw.

147184 is indeed a lot of men. ("Viri" is the plural of vir, "man").

I am very happy with AVG. Norton is too cumbersome and invasive.

Just loaded Active Virus Shield in lieu of AVG and it picked up a bit of adware on a machine I'd mistakenly believed was clean.
