Good post, sticky. Maybe you can include Imagine-IPS as they offer probably the cheapest IS accounts (R199 for 3gb/30gb)

kk, will add that later when I am able to, the only negative against the OpenWeb option is no OpenBrowse for international browsing via local bandwidth.

Even though there are many uses for this account, I generally personally dont like those accounts because you need to use your international access before you are able to use the large amount of local access included in the package.

Just saw this post from a link to another person asking...

MRG Very VERY nice breakdown and well laid out. Hopefully this will help more "newbies" to ADSL in SA

I agree, nice idea MrG, it looks good ;) Good job bro :)

Imagine-IPS added, I just seem to not like them, poor guys :( Sorry, I just dont find good value from their offerings.

They give local access but you need to cap international if you want to get to it and there is no local only offerings. If they had that, they would comepete against OpenWeb.

definitley has to be stickied!........wil cut down on all the threads bout which isp ppl should get

Brilliant, everything summed up perfectly. Must say though, when I saw the option that stated "5GB Int + 300GB Local - R228" and not clicking that it was a typo, I thought it was christmas early!!! :) dope :)

Thanks alot for an excellent post..

thanks for spotting that :) Added Imagine-IPS in a rush. :D

How about Atlantic (@lantic)? They not a good ISP? I have an account with them and I have no probs! :D

Okay, will have a look at @tlantic, remember only ISP's that have something different or best value for money are listed. Have written down @tlantic to be added.
