MSN Problems on iBurst? 16-Nov-2006

Hi,

I'm having trouble connecting to MSN right now - just wondering if anyone else on iBurst has the same problem?

It could also be my client (Gaim on Linux) but would like to rule out network issues first.

I had a problem about a week ago, but it wasn't only with MSN. All instant message apps failed to connect but everything's fine now though.
 
How to solve the issue...

Set IE to off line and exit all other apps using your internet connection.

Click Start, run, copy the text below in to the run window as is and hit enter, then set IE back to online and restart your msg apps.

cmd.exe /C "ipconfig /flushdns"
 
Alternatively..

Uninstall IE now and run FF or Opera..

Otherwise just do the rest of what Micheal said. It has worked for me in the past..

I've had problems connecting with Gaim but not with other apps so not sure if it could be that. Which version are you using?
