I'm currently using an Openweb 30gig local account + 192k open browse. I therefore have no access to international bandwith. Is it thus still possible to be able to connect to msn using this account? Please let me know if there's a way =)

Thankyou Much appreciated :)

Only way I can think of is if you create a jabber account and then use a local MSN gateway.

Thankyou, sounds like a plan syndre, if there's no other way to get around using the normal msn guess that's the way to go

Have you tried routing it through the open browse proxy? I know you can use MSN through a proxy and it won't generate much traffic so don't think it would be a problem.

You can use the openbrowse proxy for msn but there are quite a few issues. Sometimes it just doesn't work or it's slow or you get errors saying that the message is undeliverable.

If you're using openbrowse then MSN should work fine, from what I heard. My MSN usually works fine if I use my local only account with no openbrowse..

I find it strange but I'm not complaining.

Mine was working for about 3 days after I got my Openweb account, but now it doesn't. I only have a 30Gb Local only account. NO international. I was going to try the Openbrowse option, but it looks like it will be a waste of time and money? Hmmm

Will have to see:p
