Take note: this is a CardBus card, clearly Sony Ericsson do not think this is a dead standard. Beware all of you shopping for a new notebook, don't go for one that only has an ExpressCard slot unless you are sure the add-on cards you will need are available.

Don't know so much about that... Huawei has had the E630 3.6Mbps card out for a couple of months already and are scheduled to launch the E870 in Q3, 2007 which will support a peak rate up to 7.2 Mbps in the downlink and 2.0 Mbps in the uplink.
