Any ideas will be helpful. I feel like I was much better off with dial-up. I used my 1 Gig international Bandwidth. Now I Have 9 Gig local and I can't check my gmail, can't use my messenger. cant download anything worth having. I think that the R600 plus that I am spending now is wasted. Broadband in SA in fast connectivity to no where.

and get the 24.com messenger, its a local gateway to msn and yahoo...think MrG started the thread about it, search for it 
And trust me...with the right sources, u can get much more with those 9gig local than 2x 2gig telkom international accounts

It's still not worth having local internat if you don't have international, whats the point besides downloading?
You should get a prepaid international account like someone suggested and then a seperate local only account, both are really cheap.
