Will Vodacom and MTN join forces against Telkom?

As long as it involves :

1. Lower monthly tariffs
2. Free local calls a la Cell C
3. Lower interconnection fees

then I'm all game for it. Otherwise they can forget it.

I'm guessing here, but I suspect that Digicrap links rented from Telkodemonopolies by Vodacom & MTN, might actually be Telkodemonopolies' single largest source of revenue - there are thousands of base-stations and consequently thousands of Digicrap links being used for backhaul bandwidth.

I wonder if this sort of info is available and can be confirmed in Telkodemonopolies' published results...

Telkom has got itself into some digicrap

By the time Telkom wakes up, the train will have left the station.

Not if it's a telkom train. It would get capped after the 3rd station and you'll be stuck untill you buy a new station :D

Reminds me of Monopoly. Telkom own all 4 stations and rape the hell out of you if you land on one

What we as user of their network get out of this?
