Are you happy with your ISP

So i was wondering as i see alot of people unhappy with their ISP for various reasons. Its not an easy choice for some, if they have had enough to leave, or if they are happy and have no reasons to leave

But when would you decide to move? or will you stick it out in the hope that things get better. Would be interesting to see what people have to say. Below are some questions, straight forward questions.

ISP: Afrihost

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: pricing, and general interaction with the reps, and just no issues with them. Great portal in the Client zone.

Would you recommend them: yes, absolutely

Would you move: no, not anytime soon.

ISP: Axxess

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: Support & features

Would you recommend them: Yes

Would you move: Not at this time

Rating: 9/10
 
Isp: Crystal web
Happy: extremely
Reasons: great product, great price, great support, (I don't care about a portal. I just want no hassle fast interwebs), accessible senior staff

Would recommend, no reason to move.
 
ISP: CW

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: Quality. Service.

Would you recommend them: Definitely

Would you move: No (just moved from TI)

I like Crystal Web too, even though im an Afrihost Client.

But lets see how many people answer the questions, as its a good way to help people decide where to go based on experiences.

Are you happy: Extremely

Reasons: Affordable pricing, great range of products, very innovative and their reps and CEO is cool.

Would you recommend them: Most definitely.

Would you move: No, they provide me the service I need.

Rating: 10/10 :)
 
ISP: Telkom

Are you happy: No

Reasons: Extreme lying about speed and horrible service

Would you recommend them: Not even To Hitler

Would you move: Most Surely

Are you happy: yes
Reason: no downtime
Would you recommend: yes
Cons: a little pricey

Rating: 8 -2 for price
 
ISP: OpenWeb

Are you happy: Negative

Reasons: Piece of kaka poo

Would you recommend them: Maybe to Zuma?

Would you move: no, not anytime soon.

Rating: -5/7

Joke aside

ISP: Afrihost

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: Pricing, Roll over, Reduced latency compared to previous isp I used to overseas server.

Would you recommend them: yes, absolutely

Would you move: No reason to as

ISP: Crystal Web

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: Haven't had a quicker gaming ping when compared against other ISP's

Would you recommend them: Yes

Would you move: If they priced themselves too high, yes.

Rating: 8/10

However, assuming Crystal Web did not exist, I would have had my Fibre line with Axxess and data with Afrihost.

Are you happy: Yes

Reasons: Internet works.

Would you recommend them: Yes. Internet works.

Would you move: No. Internet works.

Are you happy: Not really.

Reasons: Throttling with usage thresholds makes me depressed.

Would you recommend them: Yes to light users.

Would you move: Yes

Are you happy: Extremely

Reasons: Quality, Service, Price, Support, No BS excuses

Would you recommend them: Most Definitely

Would you move: Never been with them since they opened

Happy? Yes

Reasons: awesome staff, great pricing.

Would I move? No

Is there any issues? Sometimes beg of the month, latency is higher than normal

Recommend them? Yes!

ISP #1: Crystal Web

Happy: Not particularly.

Reason: Lost 500+GB in 4 days and CW insist it was used on my end. I'm unconvinced - no suspicious activity on the wifi & bandwidth monitoring apps absolve my PCs of blame. And I had no degraded service during all that data use.

Recommend: Yep. Their network is damn good.

Would I move: Yes, only because I would move from any ISP under the appropriate circumstances.

Rating: 8/10 (10/10 until end of last month)


ISP #2: Afrihost

Happy: Not particularly

Reason: I love the doubled data, midnight to 6pm uncapped data, 500MB mobile data, pricing and Clientzone, but I am so damn tired of performance issues. Hasn't been a few days and Youtube streaming has gone to hell.

Recommend: Probably not.

Would I move: Yes, same reason as above.

Rating: 6/10
 
ISP: Telkom Internet

Are you happy: Very happy

Reasons: Network stability, double data and the best thing ever; an integrated data simm.

Would you recommend them: Yes, which would include a warning if they ever need to contact suport.

Would you move: No, I'm receiving a very good service.

Rating: 9/10 :)
 
ISP: Telkom Internet

Are you happy: sometimes

Reasons: integrated data sim makes me happy, but constant line issues makes me unhappy

Would you recommend them: Yes and no

Would you move: No, but only only because of data sim

Rating: 6/10
 
ISP: Afrihost

Are you happy: Extremely

Reasons: Great pricing and product works flawlessly.They are the most innovative ISP by far.

Would you recommend them: Always do

Would you move: No.

Rating: 10/10
 
ISP: VOX

Are you happy: Super Happy!!

Reasons: R164 for 200GB with 6 months rollover! Best Streaming and PS4 Gaming performance I've gotten since all 4 my previous ISP's

Would you recommend them: Always do

Would you move: No.

Are you happy? Yep

Reasons: Great pricing and product works flawlessly since i got it. Only issues have been with my line (Telkom)

Would you recommend them: Yep

Would you move: Probably not anytime soon (even though the new Afrihost deals are tempting)
