Anyone here have this phone? It's currently going for $186 on gearbest, which seems like ridiculously good value for an SD820. I'm very tempted to pull the trigger...

I think xiaomi note 4 is much better option.
Guy I want to know if these Chinese sites are reliable to buy like banggood,gearbest,tomtop,geekbuying?
I want some honest answer please!
 
I thought about the Note 4 but the slower chip, more unwieldy size, higher cost and smaller memory all shifted me more to the Z2. YMMV.

Banggood and geekbuying I have used before. 100% legit.

R2500 for phone and shipping.

I think it passed customs without any fees as it is at post office all-ready. There might be small fee like R100 bucks or something.

Normally when you fetch stuff from cape mail then you pay the full 14%.
 
Had to pay R67 for customs. Time to play!!

Phone came with india rom which has play store installed.

Seems to be using google now launcher.

Pre-installed screen protector, hopefully the cover comes soon!

Interesting, that seems to be a better rom for ease of use with the play store. Any plans on rooting and installing a custom rom? The availability of stock Android builds for this phone is a major attraction.

I am waiting for some android 7 roms.
