Compiz-fusion on Gutsy

Thanks, so I installed it and enabled all the effects... Now how do I control that cube!?

make sure the cube is enabled in the compiz settings, and then hold down cntrl+alt and an arrow key, or hold down control+alt and click and drag with your mouse. if you fiddle through the settings you will find their key bindings.

Let me know how it goes :> (also enable wobbly windows :> )

I installed Gutsy on my old Acer laptop and by-gum if Compiz was working straight off! I installed the Settings Manager and was impressing the colleagues with the prettiness.

Loving Ubuntu!

My cube is flat like a piece of paper....How do you get it to look like an actual cube?

NM. Sorted it :)

Yeah, but a part of KDE. The two pane layout is an option, basically its an enhanced version of Konqueror for files.

HOW?!? Please explain what you changed to make it look all cuby? Mine just looks papery
I forgot the exact setting, but somewhere in the general settings there is something set to 2 which needs to be 4. Number of desktops or something. Very vague, I know. Just trial-and error everthing set to 2 under the general section.:o
