Yes i agree 24 months is a Looong time, with competition around the corner.
 
Have to agree with the sentiments shown here - 24 months is a long time and I don't like contracts either.

Lets wait till March 2008 for NeoTel anyway and take it from there
 
I think the 24 month contract sign-in is a pivotal part of the deal. Here I think the broadband portion is not the main reason for the contract, but rather the DSTV part where competition is looming. I think Naspers is preparing for Telkom Media…

yes it is more a TV oriented offering then a broadband package, but it is jumping the gun in terms of 'triple-play' which requires, by definition, that all media is available on 1 dsl line.

So as far as I'm concerned, it's a BS marketing campaign and will be very misleading for the ordinary man on the street.

I hope M-Web hasn't inadvertently set a 'triple-play' pricing precedent with this false offer.
 
The idea is good mweb, but you'll only catch a few people.
 
How many months since this was launched and have we really seen huge price drops?

I want DSTV premium, I also want DSL.... this isn't such a bad offering. Remember that tomorrow never comes, might as well take the deal while its on offer.

I would definitely do it but I wont settle for DSL 384... other ways I would be all over this offer.
 
I know this an old thread but does Mweb still offer this?

If it does, has anyone tried this? Any links? Can't find anything on Mweb's site. Only terms and conditions. No order form.
