MTN voice network problems in CT?

I've tried 3 different MTN numbers and none of them go through. That is from a landline. I can't call out from my MTN cell either!

EDIT: mods please move this thread, I misclicked somehow

Lol every Friday a thread like this pops up.
 
Well, I've asked 3 different persons in various locations around the Peninsula and they are all saying they can't call out from their mobiles or call themselves from a landline...

Yup, my phone is cut off too. Pretoria.

Phoned Autopage - MTN network problem.

Strange that the guy who sits next to me is also MTN and his phone is working....
 
Mine is working. I had trouble earlier trying to call a friend but it seems alright now.
 
2 out of 5 friends are still cut-off and me makes 3 out of 6.
 
Ok i think the cleaner unplugged the SQL server to vaccuum the floor....
 
No wait, she finished vaccuuming because now im connected. Yay!

dad autopage and working (Port elizabeth)

mom is pay as you go and working (Port Elizabeth)

friend is pay as you go: not working(germiston)

Ok that won't help me making any sense of it though :o
Though I might be able to narrow it down.
 
me: MTN SP (number starts with 082 96)
friend1 in Stellenbosch: MTN SP (number starts with 083 38)
friend2 in Stellenbosch: MTN SP (number starts with 083 71)
friend of colleague in Cape Town CBD: MTN SP (number starts with 083 45)
friend in Plattekloof, Cape Town: MTN SP (number starts with 083 26)
all on contract
