I also seem to have this problem.. I can't make in calls..

phone one = iTalk, 083 79..... Connected to network, but can't make or receive calls, GPRS (edge) works
phone two = iTalk, 083 60.... "No access to network displayed on screen", can't make or receive calls, 3G works, sms go out but don't get delivered....

Cape Talk says MTN has a serious problem and they don't know when it will be fixed.

There were indeed MTN problems, I couldnt call anyone and the problem is still occuring intermittently
