how do i work out how much gigs i have left

evening all. i dont know how to work out how much gigs or mb's i have left, can someone please tell me. i have a 3 gig cap and my usage says my combined total usage is 838.4256mb.its easier to get thru to you guys/gals then to hellkom.

you have 3072 - 838.4256 = 2233.5744mb remaining.
 
ok thanks bwana, so i have enuf to download music and video call to usa thru skype then? i dont want my wife killing me if i use up the mb's and she cannot talk to our daughters over there.

Well you can probably do about 3x what you've done so far this month :)

If all else fails you can buy yourself a gb pay as you go from axxess. It wont expire at the end of the month even if you dont use it up so you can keep it in reserve for as long as it lasts.
 
i just saw i said gis instead of gigs sorry, but i am glad you knew what i was talking about. so you are saying i can by from axxess (i have seen the banner but dont know anything about them/it) we usually just phoned telkom and they gave us another gig. i will look into that option thanks man.

The gb you just purchase from telkom will expire at the end of the month so make sure you get your moneys worth :)
 
ha ha yeah they conned us already but we make sure we get our monies worth especially when we are offline we complain and get a refund, i am actually reading up on the vouchers as we speak, i started on pre-paid internet on my laptop till i found skype then switched to telkom adsl, but we have plenty of problems with them since we started 3 months ago. this is something to consider.
 
I would not worry too much this month. I suspect you can talk to your daughter non stop for some time before they cut you off.

There is something called Buy more bandwidth..
It's cheap Rxx to call your daugher is more economical than calling her over a normal land phone. :)
