    @Johnatan56 And this is even with their latest package. where the release notes says its compatible with May 2019 update. I wont be using that for a while. at the moment I have no need for any of its extras anyway.

    O...K... so easy fix in the end. I removed the driver package from the pc using DDU. then after a restart I installed the driver from windows update via device manager. now its fine. so something in the Nvidia driver package is causing the problem.

    @Meelperd. I dont have that problem and haven't heard of it yet but I will keep that in mind. the data usage alone could be a big problem for a lot of people. I just noticed a new version of the Geforce driver. the release notes says it now supports 1903. maybe it works with the new driver...
