Anyone else have no connectivity in the PTA East area?
On an openserve line, with afrihost ISP, & my connection went down a few hours ago.
Any possible ETA if its a known issue? Should I be contacting someone?
I was about to ask the same thing. I'm getting 1-2 mbps on my 200 line.
I saw the Afrihost status page lists Vuma problems - but I'm on Openserve in Gauteng.
Hello all. :)
Who do I contact about moving my physical fibre line at my house? We're doing renovations and the line needs to be moved since it's cutting through the area being extended.
Is there a network outage / problem in the Garsfontein (Pretoria East) area?
My internet was working until around 3:30 PM then, abruptly, my ONT LOS line started flickering red. My modem is also showing a single red dot. I'm unsure if it's a wider problem or simply something on my end. :crying...

Is there a reason why only my...

Thank you for explaining. Again. I appreciate all your help and the quick responses. I'll see about canceling my Telkom when I have time and then switching over.
I have a few final questions before switching to Afrihost if you don't mind.
It says I can mitigate my current line, which I would obviously do, but also that I have to cancel my current ISP first. Since Telkom handled is, would I not lose my line by doing that?
And, finally, if I cancel my...
Ah! I'm strongly considering switching since it seems Afrihost does actually offer service in my area now. I recall they didn't before.
Thank you so much for all the help. I appreciate it immensely and will consider my options now. :)
