I have been a qualified electrician for 7 years and also have a national diploma in electrical engineering. I would like to get a 3 phase installation license. Despite writing installation rules paper 1 and paper 2, what other requirements does one need to meet?
I am a trade tested electrician currently pursuing a national diploma in electrical engineering (power, scheduled to graduate in July/August). I would like to get a 3 phase installation certificate. What requirements does one have to meet in order to obtain one?
Are there any tangible benefits to registering with ECSA? I know a handful of successful engineers (corporate and management level) who aren't registered and they are doing quite well. Upon speaking to one, he had a lot of negative things to say about ECSA.
