Some advice needed for my own situation

Hey everyone; Just thought I'd post an update on my VOIP journey. I hope someone in a similar position can benefit from my experiences. So after alot of research I decided to get a 10mbps fibre line and use an onsite pbx - Equipment bought - Yeastar S20; 3 Yealink Wireless handsets (W52p...

Some advice needed for my own situation

So, an update on this - Cloud based voip providers listed in the above thread all quoted me at around R300 per month excluding calls ( I would have to load airtime or get billed post-paid) Doing the math, an S20 pabx unit costs around 3k online so it pays itself off in 10 months or so. So...

Some advice needed for my own situation

Hi guys, So I have a small business with 2 landlines and an analog pabx - endless hassles from the pabx and telkom's billing. We finally got a 10mb fiber line so I am keen to switch to voip and turf telkom once and for all. My question - Option 1) Hosted pabx and 2 cordless voip phones and...

Well, it had to happen, first casualty iPhone 4

Ok, handed it in. Was told it would take 7 to 10 working days because it's out of the 7 day return window period. Funny how they count weekends as part of the window period, but they exclude them as part of the repair period. The only gripe I have is that you can't use another cellphone...

Well, it had to happen, first casualty iPhone 4

taking it to vodacare, they'll probably do a swap out. To all you guys advising getting another brand; Aside from this hardware fault, my iPhone's been the best device I've had in my pocket. I'd buy a new one again in a heartbeat. So stop trolling this thread.

Well, it had to happen, first casualty iPhone 4

Was using my iPhone today, 7 days old vodacom 16gb, chatting on whatsapp when the screen shut itself off. Tried to switch it back on but it just refused. I was in the car so I just thought I'd leave it for a bit and try again. All of a sudden the phone started becoming alarmingly...

    Has anyone tried FaceTime?

Lol thanks, seems it was a wifi issue, got it working now. It's no different from videocalling on a nokia. Nice for the odd occasion. I'm gonna enable over 3G using cydia for those times. Thanks for the replies though

    Has anyone tried FaceTime?

I've been trying to use FaceTime to call a cousin in the uk, we both have wifi and both have uk unlocked iPhones, but when I dial or he does, the other person doesn't get a call. Is there some setup or activation required? Has anyone got FaceTime working on uk unlocked phones? Thanks for the...

Iphone 4, R4000 pay in on Talk 500...

Many have said that before and been proven wrong. Remember that need it, and want it don't always fit in the same sentence. I think everyone who wants an iPhone but can't pay will 'settle' for something else until they can.
