I'm sure this has been asked somewhere but I'm failing to find anything on search.
I'm moving to a place where I can choose either Vumatel or Metrofibre. As far as I can tell, neither have been installed ever at this property. My current ISP (Home-Connect) is available with both, so I'm...
Interesting. In response to your bolded items, I have found the following in the MyBroadband terms and conditions.
Carbonite
MyBroadband

So it seems the terms and conditions are extremely similar at this site (which you are happy to use)...
+1 for Carbonite. Great platform, mods are active in banning scammers, effective rating system for buyers AND sellers, strict rules around what constitutes a negative rating and robust systems in place to enforce that. All disputes happen in public and with transparency.
People who complain...
Do you want to maybe edit the info in your original post, then, to clarify that? Because right now people reading it and not bothering to skip to the end of the thread will still think it's the real FoxyTech.
Mine is literally attached to the balcony's railing using the clamps that came with the CPE... Not quite a professional installation, but it works well enough.
Update time!
Got a call from a very helpful Rain service agent. He checked where my nearest towers were and gave the following advice:
- Try aim for one single tower directly. If the signal from two overlapping towers is equally good, it may switch from one to another, causing a brief drop in...
Good point, there are actually two range extenders connected to the device, one of which is a Netgear.
Would this cause an issue with the 5G connection on a computer connected via ethernet though? Or would it only cause issues with other devices connected via WiFi? Because currently I am having...
It's interesting that you mention wind. I feel like back when I had LTE, the connection became very spotty when it was windy. And now that you mention it, I think it is more windy on the days that the 5G drops more frequently. Very weird.
I got Rain 5G about a month ago with the outdoor CPE. The speeds are great (200 down, 50 up), but occasionally the connection will drop entirely for about 30 seconds and kick me out of my game. Sometimes it goes a few days with no drop, other times it'll drop 3 or 4 times a day. Usually nothing...
Doesn't matter if you don't use one; if someone snatches your phone they could unlock it with any screen protector or bit of plastic, and instantly have access to your whole life. That's what freaks me out the most.
Hopefully the fix does what it's supposed to do!
Nope, it's much more serious than that. Any finger will unlock the phone, as long as there is a bit of clear plastic between the finger and the phone. There's videos going around where people are literally putting the back of a clear phone case on the screen, pressing on it with an un-registered...
