Thats with a 1000/200 mbps Vumatel Fiber on Coolideas, I hope they see how unstable and slow their connection is and they blame my router but its the 4th router, problem actually at Vumatel. So R10000 ill use to buy a gaming router
Please note the test done was directly to ONT, so skipped Router entirely, so could it be faulty OTN maybe? as this is a long standing issue I have had and Vuma NOC received hundreds of speed test from me in over 3 months and they could not resolve the problem, they just close my tickets and say...
I am using a Xiaomi Mi Dual Gigabit edition router but its been modified with OpenWrt software as I like linux interface. I am receiving a new router tomorrow from Cool ideas, no idea what router that will be. I am on Vuma Aerial, thats basically SADV bought over from Vumatel. The connection is...
It gives me **** load of no responses and 30 hops at 12830 ms and that is on a diffrent laptop. I have used a diffrent laptop where there is no resoirce issue and still same result basically. Not getting close to 400 mbps. My bro is a network engineer and he says fiber providers with their 500...
Hi as attached direct connection from 1 Gbps LAN port with CAT6 directly to ONT and the ping is 13 ms so that is fine but my line speed should be 1000/100 so my uplink is fine but my downlink is nit even half the speed[emoji24]
Hi, it is VC-1621-739829, but it is up and running now. Did however take 7 hours, but I have noted even after reset of ONT and router I have, the latency is 31 ms for local connections on Vumatel, that is high, did a few tests on wifi 5G and on LAN cable.
So i received an email my service is cancelled from Afrihost, and Cool ideas have to take my line from Vumatel. I am also working from home and its not a relocation or new install, its only moving ISP's, so was just wondering what the process is and how long it takes to move ISP?
Im moving from Afrihost to Cool ideas. At afrihost with Vumatel my Download speed is 385 mbps while i am paying for 1000 mbps and my latency 33 ms for local, so many tickets logged and Afrihost never seem to resolve the issue and if I pay for a Lamborghini, I dont want a Golf R lol. Anyway i...
I was previously on Openserv, but moved 3 times and managed to get fiber through SADV and all was good but since last year Vumatel has taken over SADV and I just had problems with this Network Provider, firstly I upgraded my line to a 1 Gbps and end August 2020 it was upgraded but when I ran...
