    Howsit bud. I was not comfortable with the sound at all so I logged a return and sent the unit back. Can you upload a video of the sound ? Maybe we just got faulty units. I didn't order a replacement from them

    Surprisingly when I tested it to run my apartment from the battery only and inverter with loads like the toaster etc there were no cracking sounds, just the normal relay click when I switch over from grid to inverter. Either way it doesn't sound good and logged a return will let you know...

    Thanks for the response. It has been on bypass via the grid and the sound has been happening. Fortunately I haven't gotten any smell etc. Either way im going to return the unit for a replacement. @cavedog let me know how yours hold up
