I have had three Kreepy Krauly Dominator pool cleaners since late 2021. They are great little machines, but the Dominator has lots of little cogs and gears, so lots of things that can (and do) give hassles and it is pricey. The parts to fix the Dominator is also expensive. So I decided to...
Hello, hello!
I am going to do the following installation in Johannesburg:
2 x 1000L JOJO Water Tank (two small tanks due to space constraints)
Dab E.Sybox Mini 3 Automatic Pressure Pump (220v, 0.75kw)
The municipal water feed will permanently flow through the tanks, thus having water...
I asked a question yesterday, but it might have been a bit too specific, and it seems the members didn't have much information about the particular nuances I included in my question. I got one really good response and looked into the suggested options, but unfortunately, they didn't meet my...
Wow, thanks for the detailed answer! I really appreciate you taking the time to think about all the different aspects. It means a lot! You have given me several additional considerations to keep in mind as I ponder / investigate this matter further. Thank you again!
Who knew ninjas thought about retirement? I guess they trade their swords for pool noodles and practice their stealth moves in the garden. Silent but still deadly... at bingo! Maybe they even swap their ninja stars for cookie cutters!
Hello everyone,
I'm contemplating moving to a 50+ retirement estate as I'm approaching my 50s.

My elderly mother and I live together, and she may require care in the future.
I currently work in the CBD on a hybrid basis, only going in occasionally, and if I change jobs...
Dear All,
I would value your kind advice please.
We are planning significant renovations on an old house - redoing all the electrical work amongst other things. The contractor's electrician will also install the back-up solution for the house. I want to run - three computers, modems, two TVs...
Thank you again for all the advice a few days ago. The inverter went back to Mustek and they fixed it under warranty. Apparently the main board went/died. Don't know why...but it is a happy ending!
Thank you. I rather stopped the exercise, because when I said I don't have much knowledge about this....I might have over-sold myself. I really am clueless. So I have gone as far as I am comfortable and will get help from this step onwards. Appreciate this input.
A big thank you for all your help. I really appreciated it. I am going to ask a friend to help me check the fuse situation. I also will use surge protection multiplugs at least in future in between the devices and the trolley. Maybe that would have prevented this.
Thank you! I did try the power button a few times, whilst plugged in and not. I also thought it was just some protection and all will be well in the end. I am just not so sure about that distinct burning smell of last night. That makes me think the fuse line of thought is probably correct.
