Are there any 1Gbps dedicated servers hosted in South Africa? I am currently with Xneelo but they only offer a 100Mbps uplink. I know there are international hosts with 1Gbps uplinks but I would prefer the low latency of a South African server.

At the end of the day it is up to you to make it work with having a 8-5 job. If you are dedicated to this route and can motivate yourself then go for it. If you come home tired every night and can't focus on anything besides the TV you're going to struggle.

I am looking to develop a new web application and it will store personal information of the users (name, surname, etc). If I implement GDPR standards across my application will this cover the POPI compliance as well?
