[Action Required] Begin your transition from G Suite to Google Workspace

Hello Administrator,

We previously notified you that your G Suite subscription will transition to a Google Workspace subscription. We’re writing to let you know that you can now begin your transition. There are two options:

Option 1 (recommended): Self-transition now in a few easy steps.

Option 2: Let Google transition you automatically once your organization is eligible*, starting from January 31, 2022. We will provide you with at least 30 days notice before your transition date.

*Your eligibility date will be determined based on the features you use and only after your current annual/fixed-term plan ends, if applicable.

Yeah. I got it. I don't recall much changing. Things seems to work as they did before. I might be wrong though. I took the transition in a few easy steps option. Honestly don't recall what it entailed. My memory is s hit bro...

Morning guys is the 20 $ workspace enterprise account, the only account offering unlimited storage?

Can someone recommend a free domain I can use to sign up for the service?

I signed up for the business standard account. It offers unlimited shared drive. I want to keep a back up of my both nas. Have you stored anything on this free drive?

Yes but I wouldn;t save anything super sensitive because we never know when the happy time will be over.

Anyone have an idea how to automatically run a rclone move command in windows between 1am and say 6am?

I tries using the task schedulerin windows but not getting it to work.

EDIT: As I post this I get it working.

Are you using rclone to do all of this?

Weird question - How do you get the shared drives to show space usage?
I can see the drives etc, but not their usage.
As an admin I go into reporting, and there I can see the overall Drive usage, but cant see an easy area to check it otherwise.
If you use the drive app on your phone you can check the usage under shared drives.

That screenshot was from the google drive app on Android.

Unfortunately with the ongoing Google capacity issues I have noticed a dip in Google Drive performance. My single threaded downloads from drive is stuck at around 12Mb/s which makes it a bit unfavourable to stream 4k video from it.

Might need to switch over to OneDrive which is still going strong.
