This was all some time ago, so not sure exactly what I did! However, I remember that there were 3 apps on my phone that I was having issues with, one of them being DSTV.
I deactivated IPv6 connection on my router and rebooted it. I also restarted my phone and the problem was solved!
I don't know...
Firstly, cleared the cache in the app on the TV and restarted the app. It then opened and I got a code that enabled me to connect.
Secondly, it only works with mobile data on the phone and not wifi! Probably something in the settings on the phone, but I will tackle that at a later stage!
OK, I got this issue sorted out!
However, I can only get DSTV stream on my phone (samsung)by using data! It will not connect using wifi.
Don't have a problem with wifi on any other apps.
I bought one of these and have been quite impressed! Only problem is once you hit stage 4 load shedding, there is not enough time between outages for it to charge sufficiently!
Makes sense, but I don't think it is always the case! Our complex only has one FNO supplying all the units, resulting in a momopoly and ultimately affecting pricing!
I was just wondering whether this is legal!
