    I want to live secluded with good air quality (because of health issues and wanting a more quiet lifestyle). Want to have dogs, maybe some horses, sheep etc. Within 30-40 min drive from a bigger town or city for all the amenities, grocery stores etc. I'm not going to become a full-time farmer...

    Of course. But mostly for drinking etc. A bore hole or two should suffice. I do not intend to grow a lot of crops (if any).

    It's a good suggestion. I've been thinking about that too. It's just a complicated Visa process involved. But I may end up going with that option in the end. Climate aside, what do you think is better in Namibia compared to ZA?
