I'l have a look and see. I have a sneaking suspicion that it could be the battery not sitting 100% correctly in the holder and that's where the noise is coming from. Will check this weekend when my wife gets back from her work trip (did anyone say boys night?)

@TheChamp I listened carefully today when I was driving and picked up a small ticking sound everytime I stop and start driving again, I know usually the brakes make a sound when you stop and take off, but this is more distinct like a stone hitting the undercarriage or the parking prawl clicking...

Could you give me a few of the signs I should lookout for just in case? I figure that since he was trying to move the housing around and not the actual filter sponge, the filter would also have moved with the housing and therefore still be placed correctly, is this logic correct?

It doesn't look like it has any broken parts or like it got squashed, not sure about the bent part since he was using quite abit of force to push it, but it appears to be ok. Would I notice anything strange when I'm driving if it got damaged or bent?

Can I get that in South African please (kilograms and centimeters)?

Thank you. Seems like its holding in place well despite the guys forced movements of the air filter cover. Its just the one clip was loosened which I clipped back. There appears to be no dents and while it slightly moves when you move it around a little, its holding steady so I guess that's normal.

I got a new battery fitted in my car today and when the guy was fitting it, he put the battery down on the air filter in preparation to put it into the battery holder and even after that he kept trying to push around the air filter to place the battery in properly.
