    Router Battery Backup

Just want to second this. While I haven't done as much hands-on testing, my conclusion is basically the same. The only additional option I've looked into here is the idea of a DIY inverter-type system. My setup uses a Ubiquiti switch + 2x AC PRO access points, so the power draw isn't that much...

    Router Battery Backup

It's hard to say. I don't think that the battery level indicator is very accurate. There were basically 6 lights on the front that indicate battery level, so let's say 16.67% per light. While mains are connected, the lights "above" the current level flash in sequence (presumably to indicate...

    Router Battery Backup

From my experience, and the feedback received from Geewiz, the Ellies Cube Nova can't function as a UPS. It can't charge while it has things plugged into it. It's basically like a large powerbank, rather than something that can function as a UPS. I think the Ecoflow is the only one that...

Me to Geewiz: Geewiz to me: Me to Geewiz: Geewiz to Me: Me to Geewiz: Geewiz to me: <couple of back-and-forth follow-ups; Geewiz letting me know they haven't forgotten about me, etc> Geewiz to me: Me to Geewiz: Geewiz to me:

    Router Battery Backup

It cuts power to the outputs, the battery indicator indicates that it is charging, and the load indicator is fully lit but it is hard to know if it was indeed continuing to charge. In order to get it to power things again, I needed to turn it off (inverter switch), disconnect the load, let it...

    Router Battery Backup

On the Ellies Cube Nova on Geewiz... I am pretty sure that the Geewiz description is because of the experience that I had. I bought the unit from Geewiz, tried to use it, followed all the instructions, but it kept inexplicably dying in the middle of the night. Eventually I setup a camera to...

    [W] Nintendo Gameboy

What are they going for? I have 2x original Gameboy with boxes and all accessories. Powered them up the other day and they're still running, just the LCDs seem a little faded compared to what I remember. Still in good condition otherwise.

Predictions on the end of the "Great Tech Shortage"

RTX 3070 seems to be in stock at Evetech, if that's your thing: https://www.evetech.co.za/msi-geforce-rtx-3070-gaming-x-trio-8gb/best-deal/9694.aspx

    Condition always evaluating to true

Agree with this. If you nested, it would be even clearer: public static bool ValidatePhoneNumber(this string phone, bool IsRequired) { if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(phone) { if (!isRequired) { return true; } if (isRequired) { //shouldn't ever be anything...

I also received an e-mail, that said the following.

MTN DataShare and LTE device+SIM contract

Hi everyone I currently make use of MTN's weekly data bundles because they are cheaper per GB than monthly bundles (R65 per GB vs. R160 per GB; even the 3 GB monthly bundle works out to R110 per GB). There are a few problems with this approach: Sometimes I forget to add a new bundle...

iOS YouTube app - Playback error

Anyone else experiencing this? A few of my friends, my fiancé and I... All experiencing the same error. Works through a browser, though.

New iPad slow copying over WiFi

Earlier today I downloaded over 2 GB in under 15 minutes... I would check on the wifi channel as suggested above.

    iPad - and google apps

Using imo for gtalk and the gmail app for mail. It integrates pretty well into the mail application too. Overall I would say that android is still a better communicator, but mainly because of the awesome Google integration.
