    hi did a diagnostic test and these errors came up. 17012 17564 16497 17549 rescanned and all the above cleared but code 17012 kept on re occurring.please could someone help with the definition of the codes.a friend had done us a favour but his machine that interprets the codes does not work.

    the diagnostic test was done and the error Codes were cleared but fuel pump error kept on coming up whilst scanning.the fuel pump pressure was checked everything was fine. there is still a miss when idling hence the mechanic is going to do a pressure test to see if compression is being released...

    by the sounds of it does it seem like a reset issue like clear error codes and reset etc or could it be mechanical.I have never expirence something like this in 6 years since I bought the car but it is understandable as it gave me good service since new now doing 190000km.

    after we turned the engine it car started but once we pressed the accelerator it switched off.he then took out the throttle body and cleaned it and put it back.this problem I never had even b4 my head was taken out
