  • I was wondering if you could please help me out?

I needed a specific number for my business and got it from CellC. I'm currently a Vodacom contract holder and decided to port the nuber to Vodacom so that I can get it an a Vodacom contract. But now my new "vodacom" sim cant receive calls from telkom!?!?

Whenever somebody tries to phone me from a Telkom line they either the 'busy' tone. My phone doesn't ring. Calls from MTN and CellC come through fine. I am guessing something went wrong when the ported my number from CellC to Vodacom.

Could it be that the Msisdn was not removed properly from the original network when the port was actioned??? What should I do???

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    Thanks!
Hi dude. Can you please elaborate on the ordering proccesses of cellphones at a Vodashop, didn't bother asking them to explain the proccess.
Hi i got a windows xp
Pro and k3565 hauwei modem my connection constantly disconnects and how how do i solve avgnsx.exe application error?
    Hi vodacomData,

I've got a tiny problem, I've got a k3565-z modem, but whenever I connect it to my laptop, the device shows up in the my computer screen, but when I open the VMC dashboard, it show "NO DEVICE". what the heck is going on? I've got the software update, but still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Also, i can't seem to find 3G connectivity. what's that about?
    Hi Frok

i have noticed that you have logged a query with us regarding your problem with us before and the last one on the 11 April SR REF ( S2-5H720-05KVX ). I don't see any feed back to the last query , so will get the network guys to call you with feed back.
VodacomData, My forum name is Frok. 3G number is 0795267949. Please look up my number and see the reason why I am frustrated with your company and their lack of transparity in coming clean on the current disaster regarding latency, connecting......

Are we going to suffer like this for the rest of our lives or should we look for alternatives. Not prefered but there comes a point when I will probably give up.

Morne Davel (Superstar in the Vodacom company) has been most helpful in trying to assist in resolving these issues but I think he is fighting a losing battle againt the network and PR people of Vodacom.

Again let me say you are making as if the current connetion problems is only effecting a couple of disgruntled people. IT IS NOT THE CASE. Many people that I spoke to during the last week are furious about the loss of connectivity that has been with us for the last 10 odd days.

    ZTEk3520-z / Huawei K3520-z and WINDOWS 7 DOESNT WORK

For the love of everything sacred can someone help me with this.

I have a usb modem, Vodacom says its a Huwaei, the device manager says its a ZTE. Anyway, I have downloaded the latest software from both Vodacom and Voadfone, as well as the hotfix. Hardly works, either cant find modem or cant find network, when it does it gives me a RAS error.

Trolled the web, everyone says the lates version should work, but on my computer - Win7 64bit, HELL NO!!!!!

Tried running it in compatibility mode with XP SP2, still no joy.

    PLEASE, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP
    Hi VodacomData,

My Business currently has 3x cell packages each with 2Gb data bundles. With the datasim option we were able to share the same bundles, but I cannot maintain this anymore as we use more and more bandwidth. Then one lines reached cap and gets locked - very frustrating!

We need more options - are there existing Corporate packages where one can buy 10Gb and share this with several sim cards?

    Hi there VodacomData,

I trust that you are well.

I was wondering if you might have a sec to answer qhat will hopefully be a quick question.

If you're on a BB Talk or any BIS enabled contract, does using the Bolt or Opera Mini browser as opposed to the standard BB Browser get charged at normal rates, or does that fall under BIS? It is afterall browsing from the device ?

    Best Regards

    Ronald
