Best cheapest iPhone?

For sure, it’s just a very jarring experience to have to hold your finger all the time to authenticate things that are just transparent with FaceID.

Coming from Android it would feel like a serious step backwards.

Performance is fine sure, but user experience is greatly marred.

And I say this purely because I have an iPad with TouchID still in the mix and the entire usage experience is tarnished by it.
It’s really not that bad, it’s also a great size, it’s nice not having half a brick in the pocket.

It’s amazing how iPhones hold their value, mid level iPhones from 2 generations ago are still selling for R10k+, with Samsung you often get their current gen flagship phones for that kind of money just a few months after release.

Very happy with my SE 2022. Of course I’d prefer a 14 Pro, but I can’t have everything I want.

is this a good deal?

Yes I also think this is some trolling attempt.
But if serious, the best bet will be a normal iPhone 12. You can get them on Carb for around 8-9k. The bit of upgrades the 12 Pro have is not worth the 3-4K extra the guys ask secondhand.
If you a heavy user on photos etc then 128gb.
Then you will have a pretty decent iPhone that did not break the bank and you have some left over for maybe replacing the battery at iStore and not some Chinese shop.

14 Plus not a huge success for Apple. I got a vanilla 13 256Gb for R17000 and something recently. Wasn't even the cheapest I now discover.

Found one on Facebook for R15k but the guy's email address is [email protected] so I'm a bit weary. Also doesn't come with the box.

Well I specifically went for the SE. I’m not a heavy phone user so its in my pocket most of the time and I am used to the home button and not in the mood to learn new gestures and stuff. I hate big phones. So it was either the SE or the mini. Mini have better screen but SE had home button and way cheaper

@backstreetboy If you are worried about scams, purchase from the iStore.

Exactly don’t buy via any other shop but Apple or the second hand istore …

Buying and trading iPhones for a very long time I know this to well …

If you know a friend or someone that you actually know then why not but other people it’s a 50/50 ..

Second hand istore has some crazy deals and I’d say better value

If I can say a iPhone 13 or 11 will be a good deal if you get it for a nice price depending on what you looking for ..

iPhone 14 or something isn’t worth it unless you go for the pro

Any iPhone 14 if it’s a normal one or plus is exactly the same as an iPhone 13 Pro … I’d say if you get an iPhone 13 Pro for a good price that’s the iPhone I’d consider getting …

It was discontinued because it was competition for the new iPhone 14
