[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

Do these IPTV services include dstv sport channels? I need my rugby, cricket and golf!!!! :(

DSTV are not the sole purveyors of Rugby, Cricket, Golf, F1 etc. Tho they may be the only ones you are familiar with. Sky, BT, Bien Sports English, etc give same or better covarage. Astro TV, and Now TV are also good sources, for Sports viewing. All in English.

Been using the BritishTV IPTV since around Friday, R184 a month for a single connection. R287.50 for 2 connections.

It's a bit spotty, especially on Windows (more of a Smarters compatibility issue) but works well enough, definitely doable. I use the web browser on Windows, Smarters Pro on iOS and Onecloud tv app on Android...

When will we know if this DSTV addon will be revived, or stay dead?

Is it technically possible to fix it, or should we move on ?

Load this app while you wait for them to fix Kodi add on.... https://aostv.asia
It has all the dstv channels and it's free
It in fact does have all the DStv channels, including all the Afrikaans ones.

It uses your device resources? Definitely need an Android TV remote ( in Google Home ) when using a Mi Box/Stick otherwise the app closes randomly - Mi remote works, but not entirely compatible and causes issues.

There are buffering. Would " better " internet help though?

On Mi Box, just wait ± 30 seconds before pressing buttons, you will see the search icon get selected, if you press buttons before then it crashes. The buffering I think is to do with the streams, sometimes plays 30 min without a hiccup, other times buffering and replays parts constantly, just like freely available IPTV links of the internet.
