My favourite restaurants are mostly in the Midlands as that is where my wife and I escape to on weekends, and mostly rated according to the dish I enjoy there:

Tumble Downs Cafe & Restaurant
Linga Lapa - The Steak I had there was amazing.
Caversham Mill Restaurant - Oxtail yummy!
