The DA are a worthy contender for Mampara of the week, although a part of me still feels like they knew exactly what they were doing.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the time to vote for the DA mayor comes.

Maybe they're self sabotaging because they know they can't fix Tshwane. They failed at all the metros they tried in GP.

That's a bit of a surprise in some ways... Would have thought they'd check with their lawyer before adopting the strategy...

Just a matter of time before a no confidence vote though if you ask me...

They know full well what the IEC voting guidelines are. It's the same guidelines that have applied to citizens since forever.

The only ones suffering with this circus are the people. And the DA need to be held to the same standard that they expect from everyone else. There's no defending them here under any scenario.

Now it needs to go to another no confidence and repeat this entire cycle, while pissing off their coalition partners...

I’m so out of touch with what’s been happening with ActionSA. But until I see otherwise, in Herman Mashaba we trust.

My gut feeling says ASA is heading the COPE way. Mashaba needs to resolve any leadership issues that have been highlighted and pronto. I think someone suggested "Stop with saying I and start with We" - that would be a good start.

Yeah, I’m all caught up now. He needs to come through in a major way.

The DA and everyone who are running around like headless chickens have given them the attention they needed now they are going to build on that.

EFF marches against Cyril Ramaphosa:

DA is the problem...

They are feeding into the frenzy and marketing the protest on the EFF's behalf, which is what the EFF was counting on.

Hopefully it will be a damp squib in Cape Town so the DA can point to the higher calibre of person that doesn't fall for rabble rousing.
