Definitely a mampara move.The DA are a worthy contender for Mampara of the week, although a part of me still feels like they knew exactly what they were doing.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the time to vote for the DA mayor comes.

DA VS EFF: Red alert – DA, City of Cape Town seek interdicts against EFF’s shutdown amid ‘threats’ of violence
The EFF is facing two interdicts ahead of its planned ‘national shutdown’ next week. While municipalities in the Western Cape agree on a right to protest, they say violence, threats of intimidation and looting would not be tolerated. The EFF has dismissed the plans as being 'misguided'.

Slippery slope fallacy. Hardly any noticeable tender scandals in WC and Tshwane. Granted past performance is no indicator for future results, it serves as a decent indicator if one looks at evidence.
Saying corruption is corruption, whether it is R1 or R100 billion is all fine for virtue signaling but at the end of the day, people need to at least have a shot at alternative administration on a national level, coalition or otherwise.
