With NZ beating sri lanka that takes sri lanka out of the equation. SA just needs to beat holland 2-0(and avoid any slow overrate penalties)and Bangladesh needs to win 1 of their games at home to Ireland. The chances of Ireland whitewashing Bangladesh in Bangladesh is very remote. Provided we do our job vs holland , we should get there.
 
Second ODI between NZ & SL washed out without even so much as a toss taking place. SL's participation in the CWC now hangs by a thread with their fate out of their hands. They will need to beat NZ in the third and final ODI and hope we drop a game against the Netherlands.

Not that it should make much difference but the Ireland - Bangladesh games are in Ireland.

The weather forecast looks decent for Centurion so hopefully no drama.

The Afghanis have had a nice qualification run - 9 of their 11 wins coming against Netherlands, Zimbabwe and Ireland (3 times each). Nice to be a big minnow.

...then again we did lose to Ireland somewhere in there :coffee:
 
Good fightback from Ireland in their test against Bangladesh. From 51/5 to 263/7. A slender lead of 108 runs
 
Four individual hundreds scored in Sri Lanka's colossal 591/6 decl in only test against Ireland, who are in early strife at 27/2 in reply
