When you have 3 ministers running the same thing what do you think is going to happen? Imagine the next media briefing (if there is one), comedy central.

It made a lot of sense, they should have accepted the offer, I have long said the only way to cut the EFF out is if the DA and ANC worked on a deal on a the 3 metros, otherwise they will forever be victims of the EFF mood swings.
 
Apparently Mangaung has a non ANC mayor after the ANC councillors went rogue and voted with the enemy, the response to this treachery shall be swift and decisive.

I would hazard a guess that the story is a load of bollocks because they're reeling that the PA didn't just lie down and take whatever scraps they were offering...

I don't entirely disagree with you around the ANC/DA coalition to get the EFF out, but Lesufi is all buddy buddy with the EFF so I don't buy it as a strategy he would even consider.

You're just saying that because you want to destroy the DA.

The DA can spin it as a positive for themselves, their ideology align with the ANC they can just say they can limit the ANC corruption as part of the coalition.

The ANC has a serious problem though, they cannot enter into any coalition.

It is the same attitude they displayed in Western Cape of if they cannot have it nobody can. Where they said they'll make the WC uncovernable. (Obviously even in this they are incompetent)

Them teaming up with the EFF is basically the same thing. Just to be disruptive.

They can do this as they are spitefull and jealous. It is ingrained in the culture to be jealous of others success and bring them down.

They cannot form a serious partnership as the EFF was formed in opposition to the ANC that's their entire existence.
And they ANC cannot admit that they are no longer in charge and need a partner. They'll lose the traditional voted.

The ANC and the DA are much closer aligned in policy that the ANC and EFF.

What is rietrot saying now, the ANC has been in many coalitions before and also currently?
