Yes, the DA are very much capable of destroying themselves as you have seen in the past, they don't need my help.

Getting into a deal with the ANC might benefit the two parties or even the DA more since they claim interference from the ANC is what is causing them to struggle in Tshwane. They can do their thing without any ANC interference there and the ANC can do the same in Ekurhuleni and Joburg, in very stable coalitions immune from the EFF mood swings. It's as simple as that, no funny conspiracies involved.

I think this country needs an ANC/EFF coalition. Maybe then the voters will learn to vote DA.
 
We need a strong Mayor in Joburg, preferably someone who is not a lifelong, career politician, someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is. I wouldn't mind Gayton at all, but the ANC wouldn't allow him, he will be too popular and a threat to them, actually none of the big parties would support him, even the EFF and DA.

We don't need to go to such extremes, the DA can just fix Tshwane, maybe the people will give them more votes than they got in 2016, they got 43% back then, they could have easily got a majority in 2021, but because they are masters at self destruction without any involvement from me they managed to mess that up.

No it's all the snowflakes leaving and forming their own parties and getting more snowflakes to vote for them.

Some behind the scenes negotiations with other parties should have happened before you come out and announce that you are going to be president and going to topple the government.

This is the problem with Grade 12s.

I would not trust someone who changes his position like underwear just because he can't get his own way. Gayton is just a coloured Malema...

Gayton would be an unmitigated train wreck for jhb...

I think the mayor needs to be a person who is a life long politician, but the city manager needs to be a strong person with good experience at that scale of enterprise.
