I remember watching an interview with Meshoe long ago, where he said ACDP wouldn't do pre-election pacts, etc. So I guess they'll still back Moonshot but only after the elections...

Rajbansi's party. It used to get a significant portion of the Indian vote but has sunk heavily since he died.
Generally, they align with ANC over DA. They are part of the ANC-led coalition governing Durban.

A charismatic politician but largely seen as an opportunist. He bent over backward for the National Party under Apartheid and the NP used him as their Indian puppet (he was even part of the tricameral parliament which is why he does not have much respect among anti-apartheid figures) and then after 94, bent over backward to the ANC. He was a MEC in KZN at one point.

Because they are still underestimating how stupid the general population are and over estimating their own intelligence.
The facts are people are just really stupid and would not vote for someone like the DA that offers slightly better governance, same democratic socialist nonsense, but with less corruption.
