Please do a MyBroadband speed test on Rain

Both routers in the exact same position.
The Rain Huawei 5G CPE Max got switched off and replaced with the 5G CPE MC888D.
The difference in speed is eye-boggling.
I have cancelled Rain already, there is no point in us communicating.

YOUR location, vs available towers in the area, of the applicable service provider first and foremost. Position of the router is secondary to this.

Issue with all wireless technology systems.

Much better than last night - but still nowhere near what it used to be. But it is usable and for that I am grateful.

This is a typical morning speedtest.

In the evenings, I am lucky if I get a 10th of that, network congested, or over subscribed in my area.

Hopefully the one at work, does not start exibiting similar behaviour.

Joys of SA useless, and Africa in general.

Oh an wireless networks ... , when I started a few years back, I was getting 850-900 Mbps this time of day.

Hi @elf_lord_ZC5, please check your PM.

Rain has been good, and finacial issues, at work, but a good question, at this stage
Okay, understandable. Fibre is a great option though. It's not as expensive as it used to be and it is MUCH more stable. You should get the speed you pay for at all times.

Depending on where you live, you could get a decent package. My building has PCN for example and I pay R399 for 100Mbps. That's a massive bargain.

Previous building had Cybersmart (Lighspeed) and that was R799 for 500Mbps.

We have recently gotten FrogFoot fiber at Complex, currently due to situation at work, have a fairly serious cash flow issue, which is a bugger, but hopefully that will improve in a month or so -then I will be in a better position to switch providers, should thing not improve with RAIN.
