Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026

For those buying Takealot vouchers etc, 1Voucher is a better choice. Not only can you get Takealot or Amazon vouchers but you can buy prepaid electricity, lotto, airtime, pay@, Netflix/Steam/Playstation, Bolt/Uber and use the app to scan and pay Zapper bills.

There is no service fee. What you buy is what you get on the respective platform you choose to use.

Do eBucks flight discounts not apply when flying Qantas by any chance? We were looking at flights from Cpt to Sydney and there seems to be no effective discount applied, i.e. no price difference when booking via eBucks.com vs Qantas website.

So I signed up for a new apple device, with a credit facility and I am not seeing the 60% back in eBucks.
When is it allocated?
is it a separate transaction?

EBucks updated. But no booster points loaded! 🥹

(And correctly updated at 20:20)!

Check on the Dashboard should show there.

It’s included in the total eBucks allocation.

As to the Takealot 15th deal where some products are on promo and you get 15% back. I don’t see an entry for it on the calculator. Do they credit you in a separate transaction? I did buy a product on the promo and did select Earn eBucks on checkout.
  • How to get 15%: Shop on Takealot on the 15th, pay with a qualifying card, and select "Earn eBucks" at checkout.

Yes, separate transaction. Usually gets paid out a few days after the 15th of the following month.

Same. Recieved about R2300 instead of R4500 or something like that.
Which still isn't that bad, some people seem to be only getting a few hundred bucks and moan that ebucks just isn't worth it anymore.

If you are on FNB and trying to figure out whether Premier, Private Clients, or Private Wealth gives you the best eBucks value, I built a calculator to help.

It probably still has a few bugs, but I would appreciate some feedback.

This is great!

A couple suggestions:

1) ASAP spend is calculated before in-store by FNB. However, the calculator prioritises in-store first.

2) Clicks is straight 15% but it ups to 30% on the 15th if you have a kid/partner linked to your account.

Thanks for the feedback, I will review the priorities. Do you know how Spar is handled, before or after Pick n Pay?

The clicks one is a bit difficult, but I will consider it for a future release.
