Any experience with warranty claims with Geewiz?

I bought 2 Hubble S100 12v lithium batteries in May 2023, which worked well until now. I recently noticed a flashing light on the battery balancer and a voltage drop in a short time (27.95V to 26.77V in less than 10 minutes, with 0.0VA and 0.0W output, discharge current 1.0A, 0% load, is this normal?)

I contacted Geewiz, who said the batteries are fine but suspect the inverter is not charging the batteries

After insisting on test results they now want to send the batteries to Hubble for a second opinion and to get me test results.

My question is whether Geewiz should honour the warranty or if it's a manufacturer's warranty? Geewiz is refusing to provide the test results and their response seems guessed – maybe I should have asked an electrician to test the batteries first.

Considering a bigger 48v system for the entire property.

I logged a RMA with them for an Inverter,
Took it in, they tested it and a few days later i picked up another one.

Wasnt that complicated etc. Also it was clear it was a dead inverter,

Need more info from op to make a call. It’s good that there is a balancer but need more info on this voltage drop part

I bought an Amazon echo dot from these clowns.
It was dead on arrival..
I wrote a long story explaining the steps I took to check that is works.

Now this idiot wants me to make her a video.

I trust this message finds you well.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response, as I was unavailable on Friday.

The technical team has requested a video for reference. I would appreciate it if you could send me the video that provides a description of the fault.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Warm regards

Best to just return it to them. I bought a dongle for my inverter and it didnt work from them. I just returned it and within 5 days they paid me back all my money.

I skipped the whole explaining why it doesnt work and just gave it to them and told them in person it didnt work.

So you have to pay for returning it?

Not sure whats happened with Geewiz over the last year. Their service levels have dropped massively.
Orders shipped out days later (for in stock items), and stock from their external suppliers where they promise next business day shipping if ordered before 10am is hogwash.

Latest for me was that I ordered some stuff for my cameras, in stock at an external supplied.
Order placed Monday evening, understanding Tuesday was also a public holiday, order should be processed on Wednesday. I get this email at 9am on Wednesday morning:

Thinking great, I leave it. That evening I dont get any tracking info. Thursday comes, and at 12:30 still nothing, so I phone and they say they will call me back shortly. At 4pm, I phone again, no answer, sat on hold for 5min until I gave up.
That evening, I get a notification just after 5pm, waybill was created:

Oh well I thought, must've been a delay from their external supplier, at least I'll have it before the weekend.
Except, the parcel wasn't collected, worse yet, this so called free next business day delivery is a bunch of crap, they sent it with Economy:

Current ETA from Joburg to Cape Town, anywhere between 24 - 29 December......
That puts this order process time until I receive the parcel anywhere between 6 - 9 working days. I've received parcels faster from Amazon USA.

This is sadly the 3rd time I've used them this year, and the 3rd time the above has happened.
1st with a Vigi NVR
2nd with a Vigi C540-W
And now with 2 Vigi dome mounts.

Only issue I have had was with a battery return on the last day of the 7 day. What they forgot to inform me is that they need to get it by their supplier in 7 days. Which means you need to basically return it almost immediately so do not take that 7 day return thing literally

That’s unfortunate.

I think I have placed about 15 orders with Geewiz. Never had issues with either one.

Longest order was for intercom helmet set for helmet. But they did say it would take at least 90 days. It took about that much. Otherwise every other order has been a place order and I would get it Sam day or the day after.

@GeeWiz dont know if I somehow keep drawing the short straw here but it seems every time I try to use you guys, the service leaves much to be desired.

Claim logged for a Vig C540-W that I purchased at the start of November, where the wifi module appears to be faulty (have done extensive testing over multiple networks within a few meters of various AP's on different frequencies as well), claim logged on 9 April, claim accepted on 10 April, and now waiting for them to collect....

No courier on 10 April, no courier on 13 April, I phoned earlier this morning and was told they're waiting on their team to look at the case, and that they will arrange a courier now but that they are going to send it to an external supplier and assessment is expected to take 14 business days.
So warranty turn around time looks to be close to a month, for something thats less than 6 months old...

Bliksem, perhaps this is karma getting me back for something I've done earlier in my life.

I've stopped using them cause of issues they had last year.

I use them all the time with no issues and have claimed about 2 times. But the difference is they are close to me so I always collect and when I have an issue, always drop off. It does seem if you are doing the whole delivery and collection thing they arent that great.

Seems that since posting this, Geewiz has woken up and I now have a collection booked for today
