The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

There was genuinely people I saw on facebook happy SFM was injured because apparently Matthee is better. I wonder what those people are doing today?

Terrible by the Stormers, their own fault really. Some real silly errors. Just not good enough.
Bulls have a great chance, Leinster didnt look so great just helped by Stormers ineptitude.
Moerat decision was dodgy.

Only real positive for the Stormers was Imad Khan had a great game.

They had every opportunity to win this game and to get a home semi/final weeks prior, really feels like without SFM they have no hope.

Bulls game was a bloody rollercoaster, good that they came back into it and won. Good watch. Sounds like missing the breezers was a good thing, lol.

Was inevitable.

In a way I think he would be less effective coaching the ABs than the Boks. He's teaching the Boks to play a New Zealand style of rugby. New Zealand, by default play Tony ball. His impact on their game would be far less than his impact on our game. What could be problematic is he will have a deep understanding of how we play and prep the abs accordingly.

Can we put in a request for Moerat to be cited and subsequently banned for 3 months?

Awesome win for the Bulls after being 3 - 21 down. Pollard had a day to forget.
Stormers could have won but were their own worst enemies at times. They definately missed Sasha. That red card was just silly. Thought Moerat should not have gotten a yellow.

Good squad. Fine blend between the experienced veterans and new faces.

The squad is for two teams playing on the same day - a Springbok side vs the barbarians and an "A" team vs Zimbabwe. I'm thinking most of the the youngsters will be in the A team

Why the hell are we playing Zimbabwe

Why the hell are we playing Zimbabwe
It is part of growing the game, everyone wants to grow the game of rugby so you have to play one minor side each year to teach them how far they are still behind (80 - 100) points.

Playing Zimbabwe once is more exciting than playing NZ 6 times a year.
