Fifa World Cup 2026

This is turing into a good game. 1 - 1. Both sides look dangerous and are creating opportunities.

Can somebody please remove this Nigerian presenter. From Supersport and if in South Africa, from here as well. Thanks.

Why is this the main guy on the World Cup Show, seriously, Nigerian market surpassed our market, or Sub-Saharan for that matter?

I don't know how one gets banned from Mybroadband, but no worries, this FIFA Supersport Effort is so below par, it is one big major failure, the lowest ever.

From somebody that grew up with M-Net from the start.

Unfortunately it is becoming a World Cup of draws, but it will make things more interesting, the battle for qualification will be intense, it has all the ingredients to dish out some spectacular upsets.

Saudi played some of the best soccer of the tournament so far in the first half. Just a bit disappointing that they became more defensive in the second half and allowed Uruguay to get the draw.

Haven't you noticed this about soccer yet?
It's like a bunch of school boys at a dance. Running around for 90 minutes trying unsuccessfully to score...

There is a much greater chance to qualify as one of the best third placed teans in this World Cup, so SA must still realise there is a lot to play for.

But with all the draws and no decisive group leaders, a minimum of 4 points will be needed to give yourself a chance.

African teams in general do not score a lot and rely on robust defence - interesting to see the better European teams struggling to break down such teams, even though their attackers are with the best European clubs.

Draws are not inherently bad in tournament football. Shows better organisation by the lower ranked teams - we saw what happened to Curacao vs Germany when they opened up.

Consequence of such a large group stage - every point matters more
