The Rugby Thread - Part Deux

URC Final tonight - 20H30! Leinster v Bulls.
I think if the Bulls can keep the game tight, structured and avoid Leinster getting a fast start, that they may be able to pull of a win. Gonna go Bulls by 2 :whistling:
So much will depend on the Bulls defensive effort, an area they've been leaky in, all season long (although much improved in the 2nd half of the season).

I really feel Leinster will need to have an off day and the Bulls very much at their best, for any sort of result.

A lot of local pundits are suggesting the Bulls might eek out a victory.

I'm far less optimistic. Leinster by 10....

You are probably right. Going with my heart on this one.

I'm not expecting fireworks from the Boks tomorrow. Actually I think its going to be a scrappy game as new players come into the mix.
Re' the Barbarians - you never know what's going to happen.

Will be a lot of rust and errors to shake off but Im sure the game, (Boks v Baabaas), will be entertaining. Also will be interesting to see how the young bucks fare in the SA A game v Zimbos.

End of an era for the boks

/s
To some extent you right. Passing of the torch from the old guard to the new... the potential to continue to dominate will be revealed in this years test season.

We make a lot of noise about our depth. While last years EOYT and the Wellington test against NZ proved these claims to be true, there is still much to prove...

The pubs and restaurants are going to be jam packed !

When ever the Boks play it's like that ( normally )
I've never been there but a few of my Joburg mates have and they claim it was possibly their best experience to date. Warranted, it was a corporate paid for and endorsed weekend away, flights, accommodation, test tickets, the lot... Boks v England, 2012...

We flew down to watch the Blitzboks a year or two ago, that 7 's weekend in Cape Town.

What a ****ing jol !!

I'm just not a fan of Edwin vd Merwe. We have so many better wings.

Let's go Bulls.

Big fan of Paul DW - proper fetcher like old school Brussouw, watching him play - low center of gravity hard as nails, okes trying to clean him out the ruck and acts like its nothing having a conversation with the ref about the laws of the game the same time with that thick Afrikaans English accent !!! MY BOOOI !!!

France 15 vs England 15 tonight at 18:15 streaming free on rugbypass tv for those that arr keen.
